What kari is
kari is a restaurant list sharing app for Bengaluru. You create lists of places you love and share them with friends. That's it.
What we collect
- Email address — to sign you in with a one-time code. We never share or sell it.
- Display name — the name you choose when you set up your profile.
- Lists and restaurants — everything you create or save in the app.
- Feedback — if you submit feedback through the in-app form.
How we use it
- To run the app — showing you your lists, letting others view shared lists.
- To send your sign-in code by email (via Supabase Auth).
- To respond to feedback you send us.
Where it's stored
Data is stored in Supabase (hosted in Singapore, ap-southeast-1). Emails for authentication are handled by Supabase Auth. We use Google Places API to look up restaurant details when you add via a Maps URL — your user data is not sent to Google.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data by emailing wisedhirav@gmail.com. We'll remove it within 7 days.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above. Continued use of kari after changes means you accept them.
